Patients normally notice improvement within 7-10 days after treatment. After this the muscles will become more relaxed. Results from initial injection tend to last 3-4 months. In order to keep muscles relaxed and fine lines smooth we recommend getting the area reinjected about every 3-4 months. 

The term "units" is typically used in reference to Wrinkle Relaxers. The term "syringes" is typically used in reference to dermal filler. 

Wrinkle relaxers are used in areas where there is repetitive muscle movement and fine lines are being created. Wrinkles relaxers are used to stop that muscle contraction. Dermal filler is used in areas where volume has been lost and it is needing to be replaced.
